客户背景
A Swedish flower retailer contacted Minghanggroup, a trusted glass vase factory, to order personalized glass vases for their online flower subscription program. The order was sculptural, had a smoky gray tint and large openings for seasonal arrangements. The retailer selected Minghanggroup to provide the customization, production coordination and export packaging services.
挑战
Delicate Ornamental Features
Raised patterns were more susceptible to shock while being transported.
Poor Pallet Stability
The uneven stacking of cartons caused greater stress on the bottom cartons.
Costly Delivery Disruptions
Subscriptions were interrupted and replacement costs rose due to breakages.
原因分析
In the case of damaging samples and arrangements, the Minghanggroup team investigated it. Inadequate protection of raised information, lack of weight distribution and unsuitable stacking of pallets were identified as the main causes.
解决方案
Minghanggroup, as a long-time glass vase manufacturer, launched customized pallet packaging holes and added reinforced corners to the carton box, in addition to the pallet stacking guidelines. Packaging drop tests were also carried out and pallet stability tested prior to shipping.
结果
The updated packaging better protected the decorative 玻璃花瓶 during transit and helped reduce damage-related replacements. Satisfied with the improved delivery reliability, the Swedish retailer continued placing orders with Minghanggroup, establishing an ongoing supply partnership with our glass vase factory.
