The square design was chosen as it would produce a modern shelf look and it would be easier to pack the cartons than the traditional round jars. Challenge
- Maintaining product freshness during storage and transportation: The client faced packaging problems, in the past, the containers were not providing the sealing solution. Powered ingredients were affected by moisture in both the texture and aroma, particularly in long distance transportation and storage in the warehouse.
- Develop premium look while keeping low production costs: The client desired a package that would be eye-catching on the store shelves, but also have very competitive unit costs for high volume distribution. Other suppliers offered some custom-made packaging which had to be created using a costly mold or complex finishing, which were not feasible for regular production.
